Dr. Emily Jones
Hi, I’m Dr. Emily Jones from Peoria, IL.
My interest in pursuing a career in healthcare began in high school when I attended the Illinois Mathematics & Science Academy in Aurora, IL. Then, for my undergraduate studies, I studied at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where I participated in the Campus Honors Program as a Chancellor’s Scholar. I was active in the Pre-Dental Club and served on the executive board as treasurer. I received my bachelors degree in Bioengineering and moved to Chicago to attend UIC College of Dentistry where I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
I love to see people smile and laugh. As a dentist, I care about helping my patients achieve and maintain healthy, beautiful smiles. I am also passionate about supporting others in my profession and currently serve on the executive board of the West Side Branch of the Chicago Dental Society. I have twice served as a delegate at the Illinois State Dental Society’s House of Delegates. I recently had the privilege to serve as an alternate delegate at the American Dental Association’s House of Delegates. I enjoyed meeting dentists from around the country and sharing a common goal—to improve the health of our patients.
When I am not at the office, I like to garden, renovate my home, try different restaurants in Chicago, and hang out with my son and our new kitten.
