Hello, my name is Dr. Elisa Ochoa. I am very excited to welcome you to my practice! It has been my dream to open up a dental office in Pilsen to care for my fellow community members, their families and friends! Born and raised in Chicago, my studies began at Whitney Young High School, and continued at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where I received my undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. I went on to receive my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago. As a dentist, I am very fortunate to have the ability to help improve the quality of life of people through treatment and education of oral health. I strive to provide my patients with a quality of care that I would be proud to offer my loved ones. My desire is for my patients to be happy and healthy with a great smile to show for it! When I am not focused on changing the world one tooth at a time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, son, and daughter, eating at new restaurants, traveling to new places, working out and living a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Soumya Thomas is a general dentist here at Pilsen Smiles with a primary mission to treat and provide good dental care for patients of all ages. She values taking time to educate her patients on how to improve their oral health and truly enjoys helping people feel good about their smiles.

Dr. Bistriceanu is originally from Bucharest, Romania. She received her bachelor of science from Carol Davila University College of Dentistry in 2007, and her masters of science in Orthodontics in 2011. She practiced orthodontics at two prestigious clinics in Bucharest, before moving to the United States. Dr. Bistriceanu has extensive training, experience, and certification in orthodontic procedures.
