Dr. Leo Marquez

Dr. Leo Marquez earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Guadalajara in 2015 and began his dental career practicing general dentistry in Mexico. After relocating to the United States, he worked for five years as an advanced dental assistant in private practices, where he deepened his clinical skills and developed a strong foundation in patient care. He later earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Michigan through its Advanced Standing Program in 2023.

Dr. Leo is currently a third-year resident at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), specializing in prosthodontics. This advanced specialty focuses on the diagnosis, treatment planning, and rehabilitation of patients with missing or severely damaged teeth. Prosthodontics often involves managing complex cases such as full-mouth rehabilitations, implant-supported restorations, and high-level esthetic treatments to restore optimal function and appearance.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Leo has a passion for travel and enjoys exploring new cultures and cuisines. He’s an avid foodie who loves trying out new restaurants and recreating his favorite dishes at home on the grill. In his free time, he also combines his love for education and creativity by producing dental content for his YouTube channel, where he shares insights, tips, and procedures to help patients and colleagues alike better understand modern dentistry.
